Hi, I'm Denis, a Computer Science student and Executive for the Computer Science Society at Ontario Tech University.
I am passionate about Software Development and have professional experience in Web Application Development, Cross Platform Application Development, Software DevOps and more. I am currently doing a Software Development Internship at Ontario Power Generation.
I am an active member in my community and dedicate time to volunteer routinely. Most recently I developed a new website for my tennis club, Amberlea Tennis Club, to make club information more accessible and encourage outdoor physical activity among peers. I also collaborated with other volunteers to implement online member registration to reduce person to person contact amid the pandemic.
I am also an active volunteer at Josephs Cupboard, an organization dedicated to promoting the values of education and actively providing young students with the resources to finish their school day happy, safe, and engaged in learning. I provide Web Development, Graphic Design and Consulting for the organization. I worked alongside other members to draft a funding proposal for an upcoming web based project and successfully received financial backing from the Deans Student Initiatives Fund through the Faculty of Art's and Science at the University of Toronto.
